The desertSMART eco fair is nearly here again. Come along on Saturday the 2nd of October for a fun day for the whole family. There will be live entertainment, food stalls,  kids activities, workshops, presentations, plant sales, trade displays, Arts and craft Fair and a whole lot more.

Saturday the 2nd of October 8am until 2pm.

 Catch a demonstration on bio-diesel, solar power, greywater, hybrid cars and other innovative creations.

Pick up a free copy of the new Water Wise booklet from the Power and Water or DesertSMART CoolMob stalls. Bring your own water bottle to refill throughout the day.

 Buy a fresh copy of the new Vegie Garden Companion ($15) at the Gardens for Food/ Community Garden stall.

 Hungry? Make your way down to the Mulga Grove for the ALEC Camel BBQ, pancakes, Tea Shrine tea and vegan lunch, coffee and the FANFF cake stall. Or make your way up to the café and enjoy some music with your meal.

 Come early to get the best of the plant sale and check out the stalls from the Centre for Appropriate Technology, Greening Australia, Greencorp, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Field Naturalists, Australian Plant Society, Desert Park, Land for Wildlife, Tangentyere Nursery, Landcare, Geoff Miers Garden Solutions, Alice Solar City, Quantum Eco Hot Water, Penny Farthing, Desert Knowledge Australia, Sustainable Couture and many more.

 Don’t miss the Bent & Twisted Craft Fair or the healing stalls with Medicine Tree NT and kinesiology.

 You are welcome to stay on into the afternoon for music, films and food at the Bean Tree Café.

 Walk or cycle to the Eco Fair and you will go into the raffle to win great prizes kindly donated by;
