Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are a vital part of the workforce at Olive Pink Botanic Garden, and without the efforts of many passionate, energetic, skilled volunteers the Garden would not be the inspiring place that it is today.

There are many different roles volunteers can play within the Garden – you can get involved in maintaining a specific area in the Garden, help with the planting program in the cooler months, propagate plants as part of the Garden Growers group, become involved in the guided walks program over winter, get stuck into weeding activities after rain events, or help with general office jobs or routine maintenance of the buildings and equipment. Take your pick!

Over the last decade Conservation Volunteers Australia have played a significant role in the Garden, lending a hand with replacing our irrigation networks, eradicating buffel grass from the planted areas, and helping plant hundreds of new plants. Workers from the Alice Springs Correctional Services Community Support Program have also contributed significantly to the maintenance and development programs at Olive Pink Botanic Garden.

To all our volunteers we would like to say a huge THANKYOU!
